I ran across these toys called Mighty World Toys today. These are supposed to allow you child’s imagination to wander and they can be a hero anytime. Pretending to be a policeman or firefighter, these toys are great role models for kids. Forget dolls with hoochie make-up, give you child a toy that can be a positive influence. To make this even better, they are having a sale right now, which is great. You could buy them to stash away for gifts later in the year.

If you’ve never heard or seen of this line of dolls/toys, you really should. Only Hearts Club has dolls, stuffed animals, and even a horse and pony club. Ha HA! I knew the pony club would reel you in, that was what clenched it for me. I always had dreams waking up & finding a pony in the front yard. I ended up settling for plastic barbie horses with purple hair. It’s not the same, let me tell ya. This is another great gift idea for birthdays or celebrations and you don’t have to worry about offending anyone. Everyone loves ponies right??

You know you are going to go get one for yourself…..admit it

Yeah, I know. It’s December.  But when a store mentions spring transition clothing, my heart just pounds for joy. Depending on your wintry climate, it may be possible for you to get away with some of these outfits even this time of year. Layer them with a long-sleeved shirt for a multiple uses. It’s hard when it’s 24 degrees outside not to let my mind wander to watching my niece play on the beach in a sweet little plaid and denim jumper like this one.

If a new baby has recently joined your family & made an older sibling feel a little bit left out, maybe you should give her a very special doll of her own that she can love on & play with. It’s easy to overlook the older children when you are overwhelmed with a new baby in the house.
