January 13th, 2010 admin I ran across these toys called Mighty World Toys today. These are supposed to allow you child’s imagination to wander and they can be a hero anytime. Pretending to be a policeman or firefighter, these toys are great role models for kids. Forget dolls with hoochie make-up, give you child a toy that can be a positive influence. To make this even better, they are having a sale right now, which is great. You could buy them to stash away for gifts later in the year.

January 12th, 2010 admin I remember a few stores that would carry mini versions of shopping carts for us to push around when we were younger. Little did we know that when we grew up, we’d be spending a large portion of our time pushing a cart & it wouldn’t be as much fun. Little Tykes has made a shopping cart that you can buy in either red or pink! The toy shopping cart has sturdy walls and a deep basket for your little one’s role-playing fun. The shopping cart toy from Little Tikes also features a storage area underneath which is great for more storage. The shopping cart can accommodate a child’s favorite doll in the fold down seat.

January 10th, 2010 admin If you’ve never heard or seen of this line of dolls/toys, you really should. Only Hearts Club has dolls, stuffed animals, and even a horse and pony club. Ha HA! I knew the pony club would reel you in, that was what clenched it for me. I always had dreams waking up & finding a pony in the front yard. I ended up settling for plastic barbie horses with purple hair. It’s not the same, let me tell ya. This is another great gift idea for birthdays or celebrations and you don’t have to worry about offending anyone. Everyone loves ponies right??

December 26th, 2009 admin For all you post-holiday shoppers, Toys R Us is having an online sale of up to 60% off all clearance items. Now is a great time to pick up some early birthday gifts or even Christmas gifts for next year. I love sales, but today, I am staying in and enjoying the rest of my four-day vacation. Shopping will simply have to wait until later.

December 20th, 2009 admin So tell me, is your child getting one of those hamster thingys for Christmas? Good Grief for the price of one on E-bay, you could by them several that actually do something like eat & poop. I hadn’t heard about these until the news started broadcasting their scarcity around Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to see what next years fad gift is.

I think it’s awesome that great 80′s toys like My Little Pony have made a market comeback. Or maybe they never really left. I remember my own collection of ponies, brushing their little strands of colored hair like they really enjoyed it. I’m glad that I can share this with my niece. It won’t be long and she’ll be wanting a real one!
